Terms of service

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all orders placed by consumers through the online shop TCcanit at tccanit.eu (the "Shop"). The seller is SIA Tree Climbers, Zahārija Stopija iela 14-dz 48, Upeslejas, LV-2118, Latvia, registration number 40103630831 ("we", "us"). Our full contact details are in the Legal notice.

A consumer is any natural person who places an order for purposes that are mainly outside their trade, business or profession. Different terms of the customer do not apply unless we agree to them in writing.

2. Contract and order process

The products shown in the Shop are not a binding offer. They are an invitation to place an order.

  1. You choose products and add them to the cart.
  2. At checkout you enter your contact, delivery and payment details. Before you submit, you can review and correct all details.
  3. By clicking the final order button ("Pay now" or similar) you make a binding offer to buy the products in your cart.
  4. We send you an automatic email confirming receipt of your order. This email is not yet an acceptance of your offer.
  5. The contract is concluded when we send you a shipping confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever comes first.

The contract languages are English, German and Latvian. We store the contract text. After your order we send you a confirmation by email with the order details, these Terms and the information on your right of withdrawal.

3. Prices and shipping costs

All prices are in euros (EUR) and include statutory VAT. Shipping costs are added to the price unless the order qualifies for free delivery. The shipping costs are shown in our Shipping policy and in the checkout before you place your order.

4. Payment

We accept debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna and PayPal. The methods available for your country are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, or by Klarna or PayPal if you choose them. Card and wallet payments are charged when you place the order. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna's terms for its payment options also apply.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the countries listed in our Shipping policy. Our products are shipped from our logistics partner's warehouse in the EU, usually within 1–2 working days of payment. The delivery time for each country is shown in our Shipping policy. If a product is unexpectedly unavailable, we will inform you without delay and refund any payment you have already made.

The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to you only when the goods are handed over to you or to a person you have named to receive them.

6. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until the price has been paid in full.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Details, including the model withdrawal form, are set out in our Right of withdrawal & Returns policy.

8. Statutory warranty (legal guarantee)

You have the statutory rights for goods that do not conform to the contract. The legal guarantee period is two years from delivery. If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us at info@tccanit.eu as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days of delivery and with a photo. This helps us settle the claim with the carrier quickly. It does not limit your statutory rights. We will repair or replace the product, or refund you, as provided by law.

Please note that natural products vary. Candles, wax, salt lamps, wood and hand-made items can differ slightly in colour, size, grain or shape from the photos. Small variations of this kind are not a defect.

9. Product safety

Please read the safety information on the product, its packaging and the product page before use, and keep it for later. Damage caused by use that ignores these instructions is not a defect of the product.

All products

  • None of our products is food, a drink or a toy. Do not eat, drink or chew them, even if they look or smell like food (for example, scented wax, candle sand or whipped soap).
  • Some products contain small parts, beads or loose pieces. Keep them out of the reach of children under 3 years because of the risk of choking.
  • Keep plastic packaging away from babies and young children to avoid the risk of suffocation.
  • Glass, ceramic and metal items can break or have sharp edges. Handle them with care.

Candles, tealights, wax and candle sand

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Always burn candles out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire, and keep it away from curtains, shelves, draughts and heat sources.
  • Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep at least 10 cm between burning candles.
  • Do not move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is still liquid.
  • Jars, pots and holders can become very hot. Let them cool before touching them.
  • Put out candles with a snuffer or by dipping the wick. Never use water.
  • Candle sand must only be used in a stable, heat-resistant and non-flammable container with the wick supplied.
  • Scented products can cause allergic reactions in sensitive people. The safety data sheet and allergen declaration are linked on the product page.

Reed diffusers and essential oils

  • Do not swallow. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Essential oils can be harmful to animals, especially cats.
  • Place the diffuser on a protected surface. The oil can damage furniture, varnish and plastic.
  • Keep away from open flames.

Soap

  • For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Stop using it if irritation occurs.

Salt lamps and salt candle holders

  • Use salt lamps indoors and in dry rooms only, with the cable, switch and bulb supplied or a bulb of the stated type.
  • Unplug the lamp before cleaning it or changing the bulb. Do not use it if the cable or plug is damaged.
  • Salt absorbs moisture. Keep the lamp away from water and place it on a mat to protect furniture.
  • Keep salt lamps and salt holders away from pets that might lick them. Eating salt can be dangerous for animals.
  • For salt candle holders, the candle safety rules above apply.

Decorative items

  • Felt figures and flowers, wooden hearts, mobiles, chimes, figurines and masks are decorations, not toys. Hang or place them securely and out of the reach of small children.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, and only up to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for this kind of contract. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

11. Dispute resolution

If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can turn to the Consumer Disputes Resolution Commission of the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (PTAC), www.ptac.gov.lv. We take part in out-of-court dispute resolution as required by Latvian law. You can also contact us directly at info@tccanit.eu. We try to resolve every complaint within 14 days.

12. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the one shown in the Shop when you placed it.
